Mullins optimistic for Limerick trip

Willie Mullins is full of optimism ahead of sending Salsaretta out in Grade 2 company at Limerick on Sunday.
The seven-year-old has won on each of her last three outings and is well fancied to extend that streak in the Charleville Cheese Irish EBF Mares Novice Chase. Following a largely disappointing hurdling career, Salsaretta has impressed since Mullins opted to send her chasing. Mullins said: ‘She’s done everything right over fences, winning all three starts, and in addition to the ground, she is very well treated at the weights. We’re looking forward to a big run. ‘ Gordon Elliott’s Tintangle looked strong at Naas last time out and is most likely to upset Nicholls’ hopes of picking up another win, while the Olly Murphy-trained Monbeg Zena also adds to the strong company.
