Mullins has high hopes for Un De Sceaux
Trainer Willie Mullins says he is optimistic regarding the season ahead for Un De Sceaux after his strong showing at Sandown.
Un De Sceaux looked in great shape on Saturday as he put in an impressive performance in the Betfair Tingle Creek Chase, only to come second to their highly-rated Altior. Mullins was pleased with the display and feels his charge can have a great season after coming through his efforts at Sandown well. ‘He’s fine. He travelled home last night, we weren’t sure if they would travel horses on the ferry, but we got them home.He was fine this morning,’ said Mullins. ‘I was very pleased with Un De Sceaux, he put in a fantastic performance. ‘I thought he couldn’t have done much better and he was just beaten by a better horse on the day. ‘I’m looking forward to the rest of the season with him.’
