Supreme goal for Didtheyleaveuoutto
Nick Gifford says Didtheyleaveuoutto is likely to be aimed at the Supreme Novices’ Hurdle after winning on Friday at Ascot.
After reappearing with a win last month at Fakenham, the five-year-old backed up his hurdles debut with another triumph under Barry Geraghty, defeating Olly Murphy’s Thomas Darby by a head. Thomas Darby has already won at Cheltenham, shining in a Maiden in October, and Gifford is now looking towards a potential Festival bow for the son of Presenting. While the going could dictate his route, the Findon handler admits the chance to go to Prestbury Park could be too much to turn down. Gifford said: ‘That would be the obvious race but he is very ground dependent. He is a speed horse and Aintree is a speed track, but there is only one Cheltenham. ‘You would like to think he could do both as he won’t run through the mud in January and February.’
