Enable team holding off making 2020 plans
Handlers of Enable have made it clear they will not be making any decisions on her future while the outlook for racing is so shrouded in uncertainty.
Plans for the mare are now dependant on how long the length of the shutdown in British racing will be and, when they know more about that, they will have more of an idea about what lies ahead for the Flat superstar. The 10-time Group One winner has a return to Paris in the autumn at the top of her agenda as she bids for a third Prix de Arc de Triomphe victory but nothing is certain as of yet because of the shutdown in the sport. Meanwhile, Teddy Grimthorpe, owner Prince Khalid Abdullah’s racing manager, has given a positive update on Enable, stating she’s in good health. He said: ‘Enable is absolutely fine she’s done well over the winter she looks good and seems very happy. ‘It is obviously difficult to make plans, before this wretched thing started it was in her hands, whereas now it is in the lap of the Gods.’Follow us on Twitter racing365dotcom and like our Facebook page.
