Dynamite to stay at home
Cheltenham off the agenda for Morris’ ‘immature’ novice.
Mouse Morris has taken French Dynamite out of the reckoning for next month’s Cheltenham Festival because he believes the five-year-old is “too immature” for the challenge. The County Tipperary trainer has scratched French Dynamite from both the Ballymore Novices’ Hurdle and the Albert Bartlett. Instead, the promising novice’s next start is likely to be either at Navan or Thurles – where his two victories so far have been achieved. “He won’t be going to Cheltenham this year,” said Morris. “He’s too immature. “He’ll go back to Thurles or to Navan at the end of the month. We’ll see where we go from there then.”French Dynamite was well-beaten behind Envoi Allen when tackling Grade One company at Naas last month, but has since recorded his second win of the season.
