Classy Haggas filly added to Arc line-up
The William Haggas-trained Sea Of Class has been supplemented for Sunday’s Prix de l’Arc de Triomphe at a cost of £107,000.
The Somerville Lodge handler indicated earlier in the week that connections were keen to give the three-year-old another run before the end of the season and had their eye on Europe’s richest race at ParisLongchamp.
Sea Of class will now bid to back up her recent successes in the Irish and Yorkshire Oaks by following in the footsteps of her sire, Sea The Stars, by landing the Arc.
The three-year-old completes the 20-strong field and is widely seen as the second favourite with most bookmakers behind Enable, with conditions currently in her favour.
