Back-To-Form Filly Set To Take Prize

Either Way Filly Looks A Winner

Chester is Scouser Franny Norton’s local flat course and he does like a winner there with a 16% win return being pretty impressive.

He rides the Holy Roman Emperor filly OUTSIDE INSIDE today in the JJ Whitley Fillies’ Handicap and she has a decent chance of getting gold after running fifth but beaten just a couple of lengths at Yarmouth on Wednesday.

Originally trained in Ireland by Will McCreery, she won at Gowran Park before being transferred to Mark Johnston’s Middleham stable where it has taken her a while to come into form.

Softish ground at Chester looks ideal – she has performed well on good to firm and heavy in her last two races – and her sire’s progeny are a shade under 10% there.

She is usually up with the pace without leading, ideal tactics at the course, so it is easy to see Norton bringing her through at the cutaway into the straight.

EPONINA, 7/1 in places is best on ratings and QUEEN PENN is being backed, but at 9/4 Outside can get inside the winners enclosure this afternoon.
