Bowen Chaser Ready To Run For His Life
Another Win On The Cards For Eight-Year-Old
Peter Bowen will normally pass Chepstow on the M4 on his way from his Pembrokeshire stables to raid one of our southern venues but has sent just one to compete at the course today. LORD BRYAN goes for the Recticel Insulation Handicap Chase and seeks to add to the three wins – all over the bigger obstacles – that he has achieved so far. He might be a Spring horse as he picked up his form a year ago with a win at Market Rasen and then followed that up with a victory here over course and distance. He is dropped a couple of pounds from that win and goes off 122 rather than his recent 125 and 126.He’d had nearly two months off the course prior to his latest outing and should be in prime shape, and gets a second top rating on BTO regular figures and a third on speed as well as being the recipient of three better than expected stats for Chepstow, all in the 50%+. LORD BALLIM is best on six of the 12 BTO criteria and is 28/1 with SkyBet and INAMMINA ran really well after further wind surgery last time out, but at 3/1 it looks like more success in the life of Bryan.
