Top jockey Ruby Walsh says that Next Destination is the novice chaser he is ‘looking forward’ to riding the most this season.

Walsh feels the six-year-old, who has yet to make his debut over fences, has what it takes to be a leading contender for the RSA Chase at Cheltenham next March.

He is second favourite behind Santini for the three-mile novice championship after winning two Grade One novice hurdles last term.

‘We think he could be a really smart novice chaser and you have to dream,’ said Walsh, a Paddy Power racing ambassador and columnist with Paddy Power News.

‘He has the potential to be top class and he’s got a great attitude.

Of our novice chasers, he’s the one I’m most looking forward to riding this season.’
