Quick Returner Set To Strike In The North East
Headgear To Get Consistent Type In Front
Michael Herrington has just seven horses at his North Yorkshire stable and they are mainly older types that have been with bigger stables. One of them, TUKHOOM, originally with Marcus Tregoning, comes out today in the Watch Racing TV In Stunning HD Claiming Stakes at Redcar with a more than decent chance of getting gold. He won his only race in a good looking Goodwood maiden back in 2016 but hasn’t got his head in front from 19 tries since. He has been running well of late, though, with three places from three this season, the latest a three and a half lengths third at Beverley on Tuesday and he drops to claiming company today. He’s down in trip to seven furlongs as well but ran his best race for a while when just beaten in a photo’ over the distance in April. First-time blinkers are also fitted and he’s run well wearing a hood and cheek-pieces before, whilst the ground won’t be a problem. Michael Easterby’s ROLLER is best on BTO ratings and is a worthy favourite, whilst his stablemate, IMPERIAL STATE ran well in similar conditions on his reappearance at Chester before disappointing in a Hamilton sprint. He’s back to a more favourable trip today. With Herrington at three from nine at Redcar when he puts Jason Hart up, the easily found 7/2 about Tukhoom should be taken. G Lees
