Dunlop unsure of target for Robin Of Navan

Harry Dunlop has yet to decide between a run out at Sandown or Leicester for Robin Of Navan’s next assignment.

Dunlop’s charge holds an entry for the Group Two bet365 Mile at Sandown on Friday while the EBF Stallions King Richard III Stakes at Leicester the following day is another option.

The trainer says the strong field at Sandown is a concern, but that seems to be his preferred target for the six-year-old regardless.

‘We were very pleased with his run the other day [seventh place in Earl of Sefton Stakes at Newmarket], but just on paper it looks so competitive,’ said Dunlop, as reported by Sky Sports.

‘We will be keeping an eye on it but it does look very tough.

‘I’ve also entered him in the King Richard III at Leicester the following day, so we’ll have a look at that as well.’
