JOHN CANE · TARA ATHERDEN · 4yo Gelding
Made some ground without threatening on debut at Collie, finishing fourth of seven and beaten six and a half lengths after settling rearward. The market offered little encouragement that day and he now carries the top weight, albeit with a 7lb claim to help. The 7lb claim helps, though a clear lift is required.
