CHRIS WALLER · BEAU MERTENS · 3yo Gelding
Was second last in a Maiden at this track last start, beaten just over six lengths after beginning slowly, covering ground and fading out. His Geelong debut had more merit, finishing sixth in a Maiden after racing wide throughout when near the top of betting. Drawn well and is a possible improver.
