GRATZ VELLA · NICK HEYWOOD · 4yo Gelding
Returns from a two-month let-up in winning form after leading and holding off Rantan by a head in a 3yo+ Benchmark 72 at Randwick-Kensington as favourite. He had earlier run second to Pleasurize in an Open at Canberra Acton, and his three wins from three starts at this track and distance are compelling. Clear winning chance if he holds that form.
