ALLAN CHAU · MCKENZIE APEL · 5yo Gelding
Had genuine excuses at Lismore last start in a Class 1, beginning only fairly, racing keenly and being bumped on the home turn before finishing sixth, beaten just under three lengths. He had also covered ground at Sunshine Coast in a yet still picked up nicely late. Back to a winning distance with a claim, he has a strong case.
