SAND 'N' POWER

GARETH SMITH · SAMANTHA POINTON · 5yo Gelding

Returns from a six-month lay-off with three trials behind him, including a latest third at Townsville, so there is a base of fitness for this when resuming task. He ended last campaign with a disappointing last in a BM70 at this track as favourite, though his previous third was much better when beaten half a length. Last campaign was mixed, so the place profile is stronger than the win case.
