FANIE BRONKHORST · GIRISH SAMO-BURTHIA · 5yo Gelding
Returns from a four-month break after ending his last campaign with a last placing in a BM74 at this track, beaten just over nine lengths when near the top of an open market. His prior Vaal win over Time Will Tell shows what he can do when right, and the jockey has won on him before, but the overall 5¾f record is mixed. He has to produce a much sharper fresh run to trouble the stronger hopes.
