PIVOTAL LAD

TONY GOLLAN · CHELSEA BAKER · 6yo Gelding

Returns from a lengthy lay-off and has had four trials, with the latest third at Gold Coast expected to bring him on. He was fifth in a BM70 at Eagle Farm at his final run before the break, beaten three and a half lengths after beginning slowly and being hampered, following a sound third behind Cho Oyu. Has ability, but the absence is a serious hurdle.
