MAXIMUM EFFORT

VAUGHAN MARSHALL · CALLAN MURRAY · 3yo Colt

Returns from a six-week let-up after a plain debut at this track, where he was second last over 6¼f and beaten over 13 lengths behind Viva Asterix at big odds. The class drop offers some assistance, but he has not raced at around 7f before and the first outing left a fair gap to bridge. Improvement is possible with experience, though he has plenty to find on exposed form.
