TOM BUTTON · DENICIOUS SMITH · 5yo Gelding
Worked home solidly from the rear when fourth in a Class 6 at Townsville, beaten just over two lengths on soft ground after being slow to begin. That was a much better effort than his Bowen last in a BM65, where he was well found and beaten seven and a half lengths. A realistic place chance with a cleaner getaway.
