DON'T DOUBT DARCY

CON KARAKATSANIS · ANDREW ADKINS · 4yo Gelding

Returns from a lengthy lay-off after being sent out favourite on debut at Kembla Grange, where he raced keenly early and finished fourth behind Hinzel, beaten just over three lengths. That run contained enough merit for a small-field maiden, and he has since won an easy Warwick Farm trial a few weeks ago. Looks hard to hold out despite drawing awkwardly.
