CLOBBERCONI

LUKE FERNIE · HOLLY WATSON · 3yo Gelding

Debuts with a useful platform after winning a comfortable trial at Belmont Park, so there is enough early education to warrant respect. The 25/1,000 yearling purchase comes from a family that includes Finest Clobber and Olaf The Snowman, both multiple winners, and Luke Fernie's debut figures are sound enough. Race-day polish is the unknown, but he profiles as a genuine first-four player.
