MALCOLM MACKENZIE · EBONY JOHNSON · 5yo Gelding
Had genuine excuses when last in BM58+ grade at this track last start, racing wide throughout before weakening and being beaten a long way. His second to Encosta De Money over 6f prior was much better, and the 7lb claim plus a one win and one placing record from four starts at this track and distance brings him back into calculations. Track-and-trip record, 7lb claim and recent trial give him a sharp rebound case.
