BLACKWATER BAY

JAMES CRAWFORD · SIFISOKUHLE BUNGANE · 3yo Colt

Backs up quickly after a difficult debut at this track, where he was tenth and well beaten by 21 lengths behind Sossusvlei at long odds. The 5lb apprentice claim is some help, but there was no obvious excuse supplied and the short turnaround asks him to recover and improve at once. On that first outing, he has a sizeable margin to make up.
