JOHN SMERDON · JASPER FRANKLIN · 6yo Gelding
Had genuine excuses when sixth at Gold Coast Poly last start, racing wide throughout and failing to quicken after being near the top of an open market. The start prior he beat Victory Command at this track, finding enough after beginning awkwardly. Strong track-and-distance record gives him clear place appeal.
