Bolger predicting tough Cheltenham outing
Trainer Enda Bolger doubts whether Yanworth or Josies Orders will be able to win the Cross Country Chase at Cheltenham next week.
Yanworth and Josies Orders, who are both trained by Bolger, are set to race in the Glenfarclas Cross Country Chase although the expectations of picking up a win from either horse appear low. Bolger has pointed to the star-studded field that his duo will be going up against, which includes defending champion Tiger Roll, who is going for a record third straight win, and the likes of Easysland and Might Bite. Judging by his comments ahead of The Festival at Prestbury Park, the Irish handler believes picking up a place is the best outcome for his two charges. He said, as quoted by Racing Post: ‘We’re aiming to run Yanworth and Josies Orders in the cross-country, but it’s going to be very tough for them taking on Easysland, Tiger Roll and Might Bite. ‘It’s such a competitive race and I think we’ll be picking up any pieces with our two.’
