Bolger’s duo ready for Tiger Roll showdown
Trainer Enda Bolger is hopeful that Yanworth and Josies Orders are ready to face Tiger Roll at Cheltenham next month.
The duo are set to run in the Festival’s Glenfarclas Cross Country Chase, with back-to-back Grand National hero Tiger Roll also pencilled in the for contest. Bolger’s charges warmed up for the race at Punchestown earlier this week, with Yanworth third in the PP Hogan Memorial Cross Country Chase and stablemate Josies Orders a further place back. Irish handler Bolger feels the pair’s preparations are now complete, with just a few gentle workouts left before a trip to Prestbury Park. ‘I hope Yanworth and Josies Orders will strip fitter for their runs in Punchestown,’ he said. ‘They’ll know they had a race, so I’d say they’ll have a trip to the beach, and we’ll just freshen them up.‘Hopefully they’ll travel on the Sunday before Cheltenham – and less is better for them between now and then.’
